Fire extinguishers are used for extinguishing fires. 1: Lift dry powder fire extinguisher: Pull the fire extinguisher upside down twice to the fire extinguishing site, remove the safety bolt, hold the nozzle with one hand and aim it at the root of the flame, and press the handle with the other hand. When extinguishing a fire, it should be discarded once; When used outdoors, one should stand at the upwind of the fire source, sweep from near to far, sweep left and right, and push forward to prevent flames from escaping.

2：泡沫灭火器：泡沫灭火器的灭火液由硫酸铝、碳酸氢钠和甘草精组成。灭火时，将泡沫灭火器倒置，泡沫即可喷出，覆盖着火物而达到灭火目的。适用于扑灭桶装油品、管线、地面的火灾。不适用于电气设备和精密金属制品的火灾。

3：二氧化碳灭火器：二氧化碳是一种不导电的气体，密度较空气大，在钢瓶内的高压下为液态。灭火时，只需扳动开关，二氧化碳即以气流状态喷射到着火物上，隔绝空气，使火焰熄灭。适用于精密仪器、电气设备以及油品化验室等场所的小面积火灾。二氧化碳由液态变为气态时，大量吸热，温度极低(可达到-80℃)，要避免冻伤。同时，二氧化碳虽然无毒，但是有窒息作用，应尽量避免吸入。

4：手提式1211灭火器：先拔掉保险销，然后一手开启压把，另一手握喇叭喷桶的手柄，紧握开启压把即可喷出。(目前，国家逐步限制使用，主要是因为卤代烷对大气造成污染，对人体有害。)现在二氧化碳灭火器正逐步取代1211灭火器，使用方法同1211灭火器的使用方法一样。但是在使用二氧化碳必须注意手不要握喷管或碰嘴，防止冻伤。

5：35kg推车式干粉灭火器：两个人操作，一个人取下喷枪，并展开软管，然后用手扣住扳机;另一个人拔出开启机构的保险销，并迅速开启灭火器的开启机构。

6：四氯化碳灭火器：四氯化碳气化后是无色透明、不导电、密度较空气大的气体。灭火时，将机身倒置，喷嘴向下，旋开手阀，即可喷向火焰使其熄灭。适用于扑灭电器设备和贵重仪器设备的火灾。四氯化碳毒性大，使用者要站在上风口。在室内，灭火后要及时通风。
